Marko Lammervo | Artist | Bird and Nature Painter
“My condition for painting is good in every way. However, when doing their own maneuvers alone, it is difficult to separate. My goal is to learn my own visual language and freer, more experimental work. In the future, my intention is to get more and more joy from art. ”
Marko Lammervo was born in 1969 in Tampere. As a little schoolboy, he was drawing birds and wild animals. He made his first oil paintings at the age of 9.
Marko's first disciple was artist Pekka Piekäinen. He had a decisive influence on the art of Lammervo Road. Pekka taught a young artist until the 90s.
Particularly valuable for Lammervo's later development has been the guidance and support he received from artist Jorma Helenius. Marko has also attended several schools which have helped him to become better artist.
After years of studying, Lammervo began his full-time artist career in 1989. He held his first solo exhibition in Helsinki at the age of 23. The exhibition was a success and the public gave unqualified recognition to the talented artist.
Bird and Animal Processing requires special skill, research and patience from the artist. Lammervo combines a modest and peaceful character with an insatiable interest in the subject. These create the prerequisites for ever more skillful paintings.
Today, Marko Lammervo is one of Finland's leading bird painters. His paintings have gained popularity at home and abroad, and his works are in many collections around the world. Lammervo lives and paints green in the middle of Salon Perniö.
